Split-Complementary Color
Generate a split-complementary color scheme from any base color. Produces two colors at ±30° from the complement for a balanced yet vibrant palette.
How to Use Split-Complementary Color
The Split-Complementary Color tool generates a three-color scheme using the base color and two colors adjacent to its complement (±30° from 180°). This creates a palette with strong contrast but less tension than a direct complementary scheme.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Select a base color using the color picker or enter a hex value
- Click Generate Split-Complementary to create the scheme
- View the three colors with their visual preview
- Copy the hex values for use in your design
