How to Use Sleep Cycle Calculator

The Sleep Cycle Calculator helps you wake up feeling refreshed by aligning your sleep with natural 90-minute sleep cycles. Choose whether you want to calculate bedtime (given a wake-up time) or wake-up time (given a bedtime). The tool accounts for the average 14 minutes it takes to fall asleep and calculates optimal times for 3 to 6 complete sleep cycles (4.5 to 9 hours). Waking between cycles (rather than mid-cycle) helps you feel more alert and less groggy. Results are color-coded: green for recommended (5-6 cycles), yellow for minimum (4 cycles), and red for insufficient (3 cycles).
